Synopsis:
Gathered together for the holidays, Brenda and her husband Randy welcome their respective parents, Brenda's parents Matt and Jean, her brothers Larry and Bo as well as Randy's parents Christian and Marie, all prepare for the holidays with a heartwarming get-together that includes baking, decorating, and other traditional activities.
But shortly after hanging their decorations inside the house to appease The Homeowners' Association in the neighborhood, a series of strange dreams plague everyone which, unbeknown to them, were harbingers of the terror to come. The dreams were warnings and they chose to stay in the house, soon awakening a nightmarish terror worse than their collective nightmares.
Plagued by killer creatures, sentient Christmas trees, and murderous beings from their dreams, the family is inundated with an inescapable scenario that brings the holiday against them in the worst way possible, forcing them to figure out the connection between the living nightmare and their house to escape alive.
